Embossed Open Base Kickplate, 7" Shoe Kent also offers an Open Kickplate (Open Base Front) for all base sizes.  The price for Closed Base or Open Base option is the same.   The standard 7" height open base has an embossed panel to prevent carts from damaging merchandise but allows room to "push through" for regular aisle maintenance.  The open base option may also help in overstocked situations, extending cubic capacity conveniently, on the aisle.

Open bases should always use the appropriate kickplate for safety to customers and employees.  Section failure is possible when a Closed Base Front is removed and not replaced with an open kickplate.
